Trump presidency prime example of rogue HOA presidencies

Observing the continued behavior and actions of Emperor Donald The Trump, I began to realize that there is no difference between the Trump presidency and that of rogue HOA presidencies.  In fact, Sir Trump proudly admits that he is a rogue president operating as he feels without restraints.

Consider the following behaviors:

  1. Lies, misrepresentations, half-truths and flip-flop statements;
  2. Pursuing personal agendas;
  3. Failing to produce documents as requested violating ethical and legal duties;
  4. Failing to respond to queries from those he represents who have the right to know;
  5. Defending his actions as “saving the nation;”
  6. Attacking, slandering and vilifying those who criticize him and his views; and
  7. Generally exhibiting a defiant and uncooperative attitude in response to the people he represents.

Sound familiar?  So sad, so sad.

In May this year I wrote (“HOA-LAND, a lesson for politicos surprised by Imperial Presidency“),

Why are the politicos so surprised at this inevitable turn of events with Imperial President, Donald the Trump, here in the bastion of democracy?  Maybe because they have long ignored the fact that 23% of Americans live in HOA-LAND, where authoritarian governments rule the people outside the fundamental social contract known as the US Constitution.

Now, do you still want to believe that in this New America state legislatures will do the principled thing and stand by the values, ideals and principles of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence?

Those broad societal and plotical concerns caused me to start this new blog for my commentaries on the State of the New America.

  1. It is important that you give specific examples supporting your general conclusions about President Trump.

    1. With all due respect, the pattern of Trump’s behavior is out there for all to judge for themselves. Those who see no evil in Trump will also see no evil in the behavior of rogue HOA presidents. And that’s the fundamental issue not only facing HOA members, but this nation as well.

      I wrote in Defining HOA-Land, “It is very hard for those who believed in the goodness and benefits of HOA-LAND to accept the fact that they were fed and happily accepted a line of propaganda consisting of half-truths and misrepresentations. . . . Yet, many advocates still sally forth hoping that the Evil Empire is really on their side and will do good by them, and so too they believe the legislators will see the light and bring back the America of yesteryear. Not so!”

      1. I attended then Candidate Trump’s rally in Florida. I heard him speak and I met him. I found him to be genuine, forthright and outspoken.
        Has he been the perfect President? No, but he has been a real President who shows who he is even if you and many don’t like what they see and hear.

        The meaning of rogue is an unprincipled, deceitful, and unreliable person. I have seen and listen to President Trump and found him principled, honest and reliable.

        Therefore, since you are calling him a rogue president, then give me examples of when he has been unprincipled, deceitful and unreliable.

        President Trump has made mistakes on his new journey but I expect this in the learning process. I am sure that all the decisions you made as you started being President of Citizens for Constitutional Government were not perfect.

        I believe he will be reelected and go down in history as America’s greatest Presidents. Yet, only time will tell as to who is right, you or me.

      2. Joe, you are entitled to your beliefs and I do not intent to try to change them. As for the definition of rogue, “dishonesty” and “unprincipled” fit under the more specific definition as behavior that ignores the law or doesn’t care about the law. In my mind, his view of ethical conduct approaches that of Machiavelli’s The Prince (as stated by commentator Allan Arkin): ethical conduct is that which advances the objectives of the Prince.

        Stepping outside the box can be desirable, but not when it becomes your guiding principle, and obstructive as I pointed out in my list of his rogue conduct.

  2. Truer words were never spoken. Since Trump is getting away with so many bad acts, sure he will inspire more rogue HOA presidents to act out. Are we all doomed?
